On November 4th, Professor Sven went to the National Agricultural Science Observation Station and the European Project of Aquaculture Wastewater Hydrothermal Carbonization Pilot (Jinzhou, Hebei) to inspect the long-term positioning experiment of organic substitution for facility vegetables. The two sides exchanged and discussed ammonia volatilization and greenhouse gas monitoring technologies and methods. In the pilot for hydrothermal carbonization of aquaculture wastewater, Professor Sven studied the workflow and principles of the sequential hydrothermal carbonization equipment, and expressed his expectation for the emission reduction effect of the treated products after returning to the field.

On November 5th, Professor Sven gave a report on the topic of "The Current Situation of Manure Treatment in Danish Livestock Industry". He provided a detailed introduction to Denmark's latest progress and achievements in manure treatment, and had a lively technical exchange with the attending scientific staffs. This exchange has effectively promoted the implementation of China -Europe cooperation projects, providing strong support for the development of sustainable greenhouse gas management between China and Europe.
