Recently, HAAFS invited relevant experts to conduct on-site yield testing on the demonstration field of large-scale improvement of corn in the green and efficient demonstration base of grain crops in the mountainous plain area of Ningjin. The results showed that the average yield of corn per mu in the 100 acre core demonstration field was 906.5 kilograms. In this summer, the wheat harvest, achieving an actual yield of 806.1 kg/mu according to expert measurements. The annual yield of wheat and corn has exceeded 1700 kg/mu, and the annual grain output has exceeded one and a half tons for six consecutive years since 2019.

The Ningjin Base actively implements the national plan to increase the yield of major grain and oil crops on a large scale. Based on the new varieties, technologies, and equipment of HAAFS, it actively matures technologies in the region, integrates and innovates the 5 technology system of "cultivating fertile fields, selecting high-quality seeds, supporting good methods, integrating good opportunities, and establishing good systems", promotes interdisciplinary integration, and carries out large-scale promotion and application. The base coordinates the wheat and corn seasons, and adopting specific technologies mainly include selecting high-quality and high-yield varieties in the specific area, secondary mixing with magnetic amendments in the rhizosphere micro domain, high-quality land preparation and sowing with new supporting agricultural machinery, precise nutrient regulation technology for water and fertilizer integration, and delayed senescence and harvest with new foliar fertilizers. Through the integration and application of technology, under the rigid constraints of regional resources, an organic synergy has been achieved between efficient water-saving and fertilizer resources, as well as high yield, high quality, and sustainability. This has helped increase farmers' income and improve agricultural efficiency, leading and driving the high-quality development of regional agriculture.
