In order to further promote the healthy, green and vigorous development of chive industry in Hebei Province, the microbial insecticide team of the Institute of Plant Protection recently conducted research activities in Baoding, Hengshui, Xingtai, Handan, Zhangjiakou and other cities. The team conducted research on the planting and production of chive in winter warm sheds and early spring sheds in the main production areas, and studied the production issues of chive in different regions. They also exchanged and guided on production technology and industrial development issues such as variety selection, cultivation management, and green prevention and control of pests and diseases during the planting process.

Through the research, the team has gained a deeper understanding of the current development status and needs of the chive industry, which is beneficial for the scientific and technological personnel of the Institute to plan scientific research and refine technical services based on the industry. As well as providing more favorable technological support for the development of local agricultural industries, and contributing greater strength to rural revitalization.
