The 32^nd China Beijing Seed Industry Conference was successfully held in Beijing from September 11^th to 14^th, 2025. This conference was jointly hosted by the agricultural and rural affairs departments of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. With the theme of "deepening regional synergy and joining forces for the seed industry revitalization", it focused on the new quality productive forces of agriculture and centered on three major sectors: modern seed industry, bio-manufacturing and smart agriculture. It set up "1+7" venues and held a series of "1+1+1+10+N" activities. President ZHANG Tielong and Vice President ZHANG Qiang led a delegation of over 40 people from HAAFS to attend the meeting.

The conference was held concurrently with the forum on the Coordinated Development of Agricultural Science and Technology in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Researcher LI Hui from the Institute of Cereal and Oil Crops, HAAFS was invited to deliver a keynote report entitled "Seed Industry Innovation Boosts the Development of Wheat Industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region". This forum released 103 leading agricultural varieties for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, including wheat variety Jimai 765, peanut variety Jihua 19, and pear variety Jixiu, as well as 90 key promoted agricultural technologies for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, such as "Alfalfa and dry-alkali tolerant wheat rotation technology on saline-alkali land", "intelligent and mechanized production technology of cotton-wheat intercropping", and "ecological cultivation technology of forsythia suspensa", and awarded plaques to the core demonstration bases of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance.

At the venue of the conference's scientific and technological achievement exchange and experience event, HAAFS arranged an exhibition of agricultural and forestry scientific and technological achievements, showcasing over 60 innovative achievements made since the "14^th Five-Year Plan". These achievements covered major agricultural new varieties such as grains, oilseeds, coarse grains, vegetables, and fruits, as well as related disciplines including fertilizer research and development and innovation in processing foods, which comprehensively presented the innovative strength of HAAFS. During the exhibition, many visitors stopped to inquire and showed great enthusiasm for the exhibited achievements. New varieties such as high-quality wheat, colorful peppers, characteristic grapes and premium peaches became the focus of attention on the spot. Representatives of many enterprises expressed their intention to carry out technological cooperation and achievement transformation. This conference has established an important platform for academic exchanges and the display of scientific and technological achievements for HAAFS, which is of positive significance for enhancing the influence of academic exchanges and the social awareness of scientific and technological achievements.
